The pompous Big Fat Indian Wedding of celebrities Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt was much-awaited and all glamorous. And it had to be! After all the Kapoors and the Bhatts were tying the knot! Everyone from Kareena Kapoor to Ridhima Kapoor to Neetu Kapoor were seen draped in shimmering ensembles at the wedding venue, Vastu.
The Designer Outfits For Wedding
Everyone including the bride and the groom were looking absolutely charming and gorgeous with the designer outfits that they were seen wearing. The outfits were prepared by the very-talented Manish Malhotra, Sabya Sachi and many more designers.
For the first look, Kareena Kapoor was one of the head-turners with her angelic piece by Manish Malhotra. She wore a classic organza saree with real zari embroidered work. The color was just perfectly paired with a statement kundan set. Kareena chose a sequin potli bag match with the outfit.
The next who stole our heart was Ranbir’s sister, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, with her gold mirrorwork lehenga. This lehenga was specifically designed by Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla. The mandala skirt was hand-embroidered with gold mirror zari work while the blouse depicted crystal and tassel work. For accessories, she layered a heavy choker and a statement piece.
To move on to the groom’s mother, Neetu Kapoor wore a bright-pink bandhani skirt and a colorful choli along with a mustard-hued dupatta. The heavy statement neckpiece she wore was quite eye-catching and classy. Another outfit to behold at the wedding was Karishma Kapoor’s white floral Manish Malhotra saree. She completed the look with an orange blouse and a beautifully studded hairpiece.
As for the bride, Alia Bhatt was seen gorgeously clothed in an ivory Sabyasachi lehenga with gold detailing. The bride took our breath away as well as caught us by surprise with her modern and exquisite outfit ideas. Her saree featured a butterfly motif with flowers embroidered on it. She completed the look with an embroidered handwoven tissue veil.
The accessories that Alia wore were quite unique and mesmerizing with a touch of love and modernness. The silver kalires that she wore were customized and had intricate and creative details like clouds, infinity symbols, stars, and birds. Her matha patti looked similar to a bejeweled headband. She wore the Sabyasachi Heritage Jewelry featuring uncut diamonds and hand-strung pearls.
All we can say about the outfits for the wedding is, that they all were mind-blowing and pieces of art. From the bride to the family members, everyone stood out with their respective outfits, complementary jewelry, makeup, and hairstyle looks. The creative and gorgeous outfits might also be one of the reasons why we are so into these celebrity weddings nowadays, right!?
