The wedding ceremony of Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck was quite a sensation in July when the couple suddenly announced that they had exchanged rings. And adding to the continuing chaos, the couple celebrated their wedding for the second time on 20th August in Georgia with all the friends and families joining in.

The renowned American fashion label Ralph Lauren designed and brought the three exuberant dresses to life. The three custom gowns were not only showstoppers but also had their own different story.

JLo gave us a look at the dresses from her big day, and the pictures weren’t enough to capture her and the dresses’ beauty!

The Three Wedding Dresses Of Jennifer Lopez

The First Wedding Dress

The first wedding dress that Jennifer Lopez wore as she walked down the aisle was the gorgeous column dress with a twist, branching out from the slim and subdued silhouette of a typical design. The ruffled sleeves and a lace cutout in the back also consisted of a turtleneck, a dramatic hem with ruffle detailing and a voluminous skirt.

The skirt caught, which was the centre of attention, was accentuated by more than 1,640 feet of fabric cut into more than 1,000 handkerchiefs and attached to the dress by hand. The look was completed with a cathedral, sheer veil and minimal jewelry pieces.

The Second Wedding Dress

The second dress had a fitted design, a sleeveless and backless gown with a halter neck, a big keyhole cutout in the front and criss-cross straps in the back embellished with stitched crystals by hand. The fitted skirt flares out into a long train and resembles a less dramatic version of a mermaid dress. A shoulder-length sheer veil accompanied the dress for the complete bridal look. This dress, the second of the three, was the most stylish and modern!

The Third Wedding Dress

The final wedding dress that Jennifer Lopez wore was perhaps the most glamorous of the three; another figure-hugging number draped in layers and layers of pearls from top to bottom. Strings of pearls were stitched together, creating a turtleneck effect at the neck, draping over the shoulders and the cutout in the front. The dress looked straight out of a fairy tale!

Besides the looks for Jennifer, Ralph Lauren also dressed her groom for their big day, as Ben slipped into a white tuxedo by the designer to complement his bride. The couple’s five children were also dressed in Ralph Lauren attires for the day! Below is a video by Ralph Lauren walking us through the process of making these three dresses for the wedding.
