The finale of Paris Fashion Week featured several brands and labels like Nehera, Peter Petrov Who, Xuly Bet, etc. These brands showcased their Fall/Winter collection. However, the focal points of the closing day were Chanel and Miu Miu.
Beginning with Chanel, the fashion house paid homage to the iconic tweed suit! From dresses to suits to jackets, Chanel used the pattern to great effect and evoked a sense of familiarity. It was a great nod to the brand’s long-lasting legacy.
Virginie Viard, the infamous Chanel designer, inspired and designed the outfit from Coco Chanel. She famously discovered the enticing beauty of the Scottish countryside as a source of inspiration for her designs.

Over the years, Chanel has had several eccentric moments. But the Fall/Winter 2022 collection was an effort in restraint and doubles down on the understated elegance. Additionally, this was a clear move towards a touch more edginess with prominent double-C logos smattered proudly across the collection.
On the other hand, Miu Miu provided the perfect closure to the event with a stellar collection that was perhaps only leveled by Balenciaga, when we talk about impactful silhouettes. As we all expected, oversized jackets and suits were the catch of the day. These clothing items were punctuated by lingerie or skirts.
The overall theme on the last day was a lot more sporty than many expected, however, that seemed to be the center of interest theme this season. The fashion brand also employed new fabrics this season with its leather apparel, striking boots, contrasted by beautiful, sparkly crystal dresses.

Overall, there were many high points of the Paris Fashion Week 2022 edition. From Balenciaga’s chilly snow-dome-themed runway show to Louis Vuitton’s ode to the color pink. All these things showed that the fashion industry is ready to stand up on its own legs once again after the pandemic hiatus!
