Thailand’s Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana dazzled in a £4,800 little black dress when she walked out in Paris this evening. The princess, Thailand’s King Vajiralongkorn’s only daughter, dressed in a bodycon Schiaparelli gown at Paris Fashion Week.
The royal, 35, attended Shocking! Elsa Schiaparelli’s Surrealist Worlds at the Musee Des Arts Decoratifs. The tank top dress is draped at the waist and features brass chain shoulder straps and two brass ‘nipples’ on the chest.
The Thai Princess accessorized her look with a bold gold chain necklace with an ‘M’ and gold earrings. She had her hair pulled back and sported a pink metallic lip and smokey black makeup.
The Princess accessorized with a black patent bag and strappy gold sandals. Because of her signature clashing patterns and bold pieces, Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana is frequently photographed at fashion week appearing more like an on-trend blogger than a member of the royal family.
Tatler magazine published an article about her job in the fashion sector in 2018. Back in 2004, the princess made her international fashion debut as a guest designer at Milan Fashion Week, exhibiting a collection from her label Sirivannavari.
The queen first attended Paris Fashion Week as a 20-year-old undergraduate in 2007, when she was invited by none other than Pierre Balmain. Princess Sirivannavari graduated with a bachelor’s degree in fashion design from Bangkok’s famous Chulalongkorn University two years later.
In 2010, the princess left her beloved kingdom to study in Paris for a year. In an interview with Tatler, the princess referred to her grandmother, HM Queen Skirit, as a “real fashion icon.”
Rita Ora was among those who attended the event, wearing a flowing navy blue satin Schiaparelli dress with a low-cut neckline and thin shoulder straps in the French capital, her fourth outfit of the day. She wore a mirrored silver clutch bag and opted for a pair of black platform heels to heighten her stature.
