The prestigious Miami Fashion Week 2022 officially kicked off its week-long events on Tuesday, May 31st with a press conference at Miami’s East Hotel. The fashion week features several internationally acclaimed designers, including the Italian luxury lifestyle brand Missoni.

The fashion week began is going to take place from 3rd to 5th June while being the second event hosted on the Fashion Estate this year. The metaverse event offers an immersive experience to the audience featuring fashion shows, catwalks and avatar models. The attendees are given direct links to purchase virtual goods via marketplace for quick and seamless transactions.

This year’s Miami Fashion Week is spreading its claws on sustainability after a two year-hiatus due to the pandemic. This week will showcase the latest collections of esteemed designers such as Naeem Khan, Benito Santos, Angel Sanchez, Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada, Rene by RR, and more.
The runway features Dressx in partnership with MTA Kollectiff. Also, there will be a reveal inside L’Atelier where participants can register for a whitelisting spot for ‘The Key’ NFT later this year. The Key is Miami Fashion Week’s membership that unlocks a number of benefits in both the physical and digital world.
The attending guests can also witness Barbara Hulanicki’s fashion illustration NFTs displayed on the walls of the L’ Atelier and will be available for purchase. To wrap up the event, a sustainability panel with Dressx will be live streamed from the physical Miami Fashion Week location on the L’ Atelier rooftop, encouraging both physical and virtual attendance on Sunday June 5, 2022.
