As the date of the release nears, the excitement gets mounting for one of the most anticipated collab of this year. After Fendace, LV X Nike is here to give us some unexpected surprise with this collab! About The Collection
The LV X Nike Air Force 1 Collection was first presented to us by Virgil Abloh as the Spring/Summer 2022 Collection. Although the release date for the Collection is in June, the luxury brand wishes to hold a public pre-release exhibition for all the 47 LV X Nike Air Force 1 edition sneakers.
All the 47 pairs were designed by the late designer, Virgil Abloh, himself and manufactured at Maison’s Manufacture in Fiesso d’Artico, Venice, Italy. The design of the shoes is an amalgamation of Nike’s classic design codes with the Italian house’s finest leather and the classic LV insignia.
The exhibition is scheduled at Greenpoint Terminal Warehouse in Brooklyn from May 20 to May 31 and will showcase 47 iterations of the collaborative sneakers. Also large glass boxes of graphic globe sculptures will be placed around New York City coinciding with the exhibition.
The exhibition can be seen at Domino Park, Grand Central, South Street Seaport, Astor Place, Columbus Circle, Flatiron Plaza and Gansevoort Plaza.
