Virtual social world Decentraland is about to create history as they are about to host the world’s biggest, entirely digital fashion week with the launch of Metaverse Fashion Week! It is scheduled to take place from March 24 to March 27, 2022.
Many major brands, such as Selfridges, Dolce&Gabbana, Jacob & Co, Guo Pei, Vogue Arabia, Paco Rabanne, The Fabricant, and other well-known brands are expected to take participation in this digital fashion week.
Decentraland is an epicenter of digital, wearable design. Their recent press release confirmed arranging four days of runway shows, fashion experiences, pop-up shops, and afterparties.
This Decentraland Fashion Week will feature a tour-de-force for fashion houses, brands, designers. Fashion devotees will gather around the Decentraland’s famed “Luxury Fashion District ” for multiple catwalks. It will be presented by UNXD and Vogue Arabia to let the people experience the fashion world’s most iconic and hottest fashion brands on their Web3 debut.

Selfridges, the famous London-based retailer, will kick off this fashion week on March 23. They will also be inaugurating their first of its flagship metaverse stores. It will feature an immersive experience with Paco Rabanne + Victor Vasarely.
A futuristic runway hosting daily shows by iconic fashion houses will take center stage in this digital fashion week. Infamous brands such as D&G, Dundas, Etro, and many more luxury brands will present their clothing during these shows. New designers brands like Kid Super and NFT superstar FEWOCiOUS will also be making their wearable digital debut at the virtual fashion week.
The main attraction of the fashion week will be Sophia the Robot’s presentation, which will give a glimpse into the future of A.I. fashion. With technology advancing by leaps and bounds, the time has come for the fashion world to change and accept the new winds!
