Jacquemus finally unveiled its Fall 2022 Ready-To-Wear collection on the 27th of June in France. The capsule featured a neutral black and white palette with a retraining yet easily accessible couture. The French luxury brand’s latest collection offers everything from slinky dresses to austere pantsuits.
“I started working on the collection with the obsession to restart from nothing, like a white page.” The first two things he filled his page with were ideas of comfort and couture.

About The Jacquemus Fall 2022 Collection
After a successful show in Hawai’i, Simon Porte Jacquemus looked towards the salt mountains of the Camargue park located in the South of France for his new fall 2022 collection. International buyers, press, stylists, and models were all included in the guestlist for this show.
With crystal clear water, icy salt and a lilac sky-the moon-like terrain served as the backdrop for the models as they walked on the sands to showcase the capsule. The models descended from the top of the mount and once the looks were on eye-level the sight became clearer. What a heavenly feeling it turned out to be with the winds gently swaying the trails and the tulles!
Constituting 61 looks in total, we could witness a wide variety of shapes and fabrics. Shearling coats, puffer vests, cargo pants, what Jacquemus is well-known for men, showed more of the shapes for a more serene spirit. A new addition to this was the new Humara sneaker in collaboration with Nike.
As for women, we can agree that simplest ideas are always the best! White tulle midi dress with a burlap-colored canvas tied around its front and body-baring pieces with contrasting Lycra added variety to the looks and vibes. Stilettoes were surprisingly seen more often at the runway.
The white dress wore by Mica Arganaraz was breathtakingly pretty—although she had to stop mid-runway to remove her uncomfortable heels. Luxe ball skirts over trousers as well as some white tulle coming out the side of a black tuxedo dress added a hint of magic to the Jacquemus strut.
Jacquemus used the low-rise trend as sheer makeshift underwear arrives underneath draped skirts. Cut-outs around the collarbone transformed the tops into subversive basics. Folded over necklines on blazers were the exposed belly buttons for extra edge following the latest trend.
Guests including Vincent Cassel, model Amelia Gray, influencers Cindy Kimberly and Donte Colley, Lila Moss, Jorja Smith and Victoria Beckham made the trek to this otherworldly location to witness the show.
