Sonakshi completed the civil wedding ceremony at her residence wearing her mother Poonam Sinha’s ivory saree. It was upcycled to further have intricate embroidery, matched with her mother’s Jewelry. Her family heirloom attire was matched by the groom with an elegant ivory white kurta pajama set and traditional footwear.
Both the newlyweds took blessings of their families in their ethnic traditional attire and shared the images of their ceremony on Instagram. The groom and the bride also hosted a grand event at Bastian to celebrate their union.

The Heeramandi actress chose a red Banarasi silk saree to be present at her wedding reception, with Zaheer also looking regal and dashing in a white sherwani suit. Several or nearly all of the Bollywood stars including Salman Khan, Saira Banu, Kajol, and others attended the reception to greet and celebrate the couple.
