Diesel is opening the doors to its Milan Fashion Week display to the public for the first time.
Few of the 00’s brands making a comeback in Milan Fashion Week, like Juicy Couture, Von Dutch, and Ed Hardy, have been as successful as Diesel.
Diesel has been fully introduced back into the fashion fold and is now a solid favorite of the style set, thanks to the appointment of Glenn Martens – the man responsible for the leadership of the Paris-based label Y/Project – as the brand’s creative director in 2020.
The famous Italian company may have Dua Lipa, Kylie Jenner, and Julia Fox among its fans, but in a first for the brand, it is now inviting the public to its Milan Fashion Week show, which is scheduled for September 21. What’s the best part? Tickets to the best event in town are completely free.
Diesel’s spring/summer 2023 event, Marten’s sophomore collection for the brand, will offer a line-up of gender-neutral designs, with the creative clarifying that “only people who adore the brand or are excited to see what’s coming can add to a fashion show.”
Since Marten’s appointment, the Diesel hashtag has received over 9 billion TikTok views and earned a legion of younger followers, thanks to its redesigned splashy outfits and accessories.
A registration page will open ahead of the Diesel event on September 1, where tickets will be distributed to those who apply. What is the recommendation? Don’t walk; run.
Diesel was founded in 1978 in Italy by Italian entrepreneur Renzo Rosso and designer Adriano Goldschmied. Since its beginnings, the company has pioneered unique denim fabrications and thought-provoking marketing.
Registration for the Diesel show will open on September 1 on a first-come, first-served basis.
