With the war going on, several companies and brands have been showing their support for Ukraine through their actions and words. The fashion industry is no behind and doing every bit it can to show their stands too.

Vogue Ukraine, on the 1st of March, publicly urged other fashion and luxury conglomerates to step up and cease any of their collaborations with Russia. It precisely tagged brands such as LVMH, Kering, Richemont, Prada Group, Swatch Group, Puig, Chanel, Hermès, Dolce & Gabbana, Max Mara, Burberry, Valentino, Versace, Hugo Boss, Calzedonia and Shisheido in its caption.

The pleading statement was for any and all brands that distribute or sell jewelry, accessories or any other fashion or luxurious items in Russia. In response to this bold statement and plea, various brands and collaborators across the industry and fashion Brands showing support for Ukraine began showing their stance through donations, halting collaborations, social platforms and any other means possible. US companies FedEx, DHL, and UPS halted their exports to Russia. Some brands pledged to set up organizations in Ukraine and Poland to help the war- affected people.

Other companies owning non-profit organizations held out their hands for the locals. Such an organization is the OTB Foundation, owned by Renzo Rosso. The conglomerate also owns Diesel, Maison Margiela, Marni, Viktor & Rolf, Jil Sander and Amiri and CNDM are working with the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) to help Ukrainians.

Brands such as Burberry, Balenciaga, Valentino, etc. have been making huge donations in welfare of Ukraine. Meanwhile, Puma, Nike and Adidas have suspended their deliveries to Russia. Similarly, Ghanni, Burberry, Canada Goose, Asos, Acne Studios, Boohoo have also ceased their sales in Russia.

H&M as well as Nanushka expressed their concerns for their employees and terminated any further deals with Russian companies. It is applaudable how the entire fashion industry seems to be united and strongly in favor of Ukraine during this tough time.
